Fairy Glow

The Fairy and the Beast

I'm the beast that music calms
I'm the mud where flowers grow

I'm a tiger and a rabbit
I'm a dog that's not for show

I'm impulsive and erratic
My path I may not know

My vision, sometimes misty
For I'm always on the go

In my energetic haste
I often stub my toe

Sometimes I err in honesty
As I swim against the flow

One thing that I am sure of
When I'm wandering to and fro

Is that I'm only mortal
But... I see the fairies glow
