Molding Clay

You need to find unique way
To learn the ways of man
From the clay that's given you
You mold the art you can

The challenges presented
May frustrate to no end
Bad energy might motivate
And then you learn to blend

The colors that you need to paint
The canvas of your life
To find the proper pigment
That mitigates the strife

When your palate's well-prepared
Then take your brush and strike
Fill the lines that you have shaped
And paint the scenes you like

If the critics scoff at you
Just smile and let it go
Then celebrate your joyous art
And let your spirit show

Only then you'll feel alive
To shed a longed for tear
Grasp a primal energy
And make your vision clear!
