"Making Magic"

Somewhere deep within, a spirit-guide
Leads the sage across the great divide
Where a realm, ethereal, concealed
Begs it’s mysteries to be revealed

He gladly labors to explore a way
To find the secrets in the mist and gray
A place where natural science is perplexed
That might leave skeptics frustrated or vexed

With mighty potions and unfaltering eyes
Weathered scripts and other worn supplies
He lifts the veil and shrewdly turns a page
So joyous wonders colorfully engage

Travelers who trek with open hearts
Who patronize all manner of the arts
The gentle kind who let the fairies in
To this discerning wizard are akin

Like the dragon, mightily he soars
He charms imagination, opens doors
To splendors for the folk that share his dreams
And do not fear to slip between the seams

Cross the bridge and dazzle at the scene
Transport  yourself, the vistas are serene
By making magic he bestows his gift
Embrace the craft and feel your spirit lift!
