Karen the Medievalist Finishes Her Exams

Karen wrote all her exams
From Tuesday is redeemed
Now's she's planning other scams
The one's she's always dreamed

Corrupt an uncorrupted saint
Write some saucy verse
Teach a libertine restraint
Then steal his loaded purse

Order up some fine champagne
Eat bread and clams with sauce
Teach a priest how to abstain
And show him who's the boss

One hopes she'll make a witches brew
To conjure up the past
Dance a gigue with raucous crew
In century 'fore the last

To the Goddess she will gift
A half of her red wine
And through the words of Rimbaud sift
And swim with the divine

For Spring's the season to release
To meet bad faeries' glance
Preferably if it's in Nice
In Dionysian dance.
